An evening in Padstow

At last some resemblance of Summer has arrived. Time for an evening stroll and supper in one of my favourite places Padstow. It looks quite dull in the photos but it was actually really warm.

The harbour:

The Camel estuary & Rock:

In the late 70's early 80's an old lady lived in this gorgeous cottage on the harbour front. She would stand in the open window and shout and swear like a trooper, to the amusement of the tourists, whom she disliked immensely. Of course being young children we thought this was fantastic and would stand watching her for ages given the chance!

Of course dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times!

How cool is this bag, given away in Uneeka, an ethical retail company, to my daughter Jodie when she bought a scarf. So much nicer than a plastic carrier!

I love that dog and the story about the old lady. She'd be swearing and cursing now, with the ever increasing tourist numbers that visit Padstow. We visited on our last trip down and I bought a Cornishware cutlery drainer from a really nice kitchen shop. x

That old lady sounds just like me... LOL.

The Puppy is so sweet, and what a great idea for a bag.
